Cinemagraphs

My initial plan for the cinemagraphs was basically the same thing that my finals turned out to be. I used these two ideas pretty much because they were the first to pop into my head. Making this project was a bit difficult because I had to realign a lot of the pictures so that they all fit together and weren't moving around the screen. Also, it was bit difficult to erase all the parts I didn't need. It turned out alright in the end. I tried my hardest to minimize the movement of the background and isolate it to the main subject so that it didn't look odd. I preformed it to the best of my ability and I think it went well.

Cinemagraph Ideas

I am going to photograph a picture of me and my eyes are going to move around. The cinemagraph will probably be photographed right outside. I won't really need any props for it. Just me. I'm probably only going to need about 30 photos or less. I'm not really too sure. When all the photos are stacked, I'm going to need to erase everything except the eyes so that they are the only things moving.

I am going to photograph a water fountain and make the water coming out the only thing moving. The photograph is probably going to be taken right outside the classroom. I don't think I'm going to need any props for this one either. I'm proably going to need about 20 photos and then I can just loop it. When the photos are all stacked up I'm probably going to need to delete everything but the water so that it's the only thing moving.

2D Icon Buttons Tutorial

Making these buttons was a little easier than making the logos and required less steps. Although it was more simple, it was still very tedious and took quite a bit of time.

3D Logos Tutorial

Making these logos had a good turn out but was very tedious. It took me a while to finish the project and even then there was still more that I wanted to do with them.

Illustrator Tutorial One

I think that this piece turned out pretty well. I think this piece is successful because the flowers look okay, and nothing really went wrong. What worked about the project was that I followed the tutorial and got everything working fine. Nothing didn't work. From this piece, I learned how to use Adobe Illustrator from this tutorial. I learned how to use the shape tools and gradients.

Book Cover Design

I chose the character and the story because I wasn't really doing well with the Photoshop tool so I just chose something simple. The setting of the book is on a farm, hence the title "Animal Farm." The design I made reflects the setting because I added animals, a barn, and a fence to make it seem like a farm. The font I chose was Vladimir Script. I chose it because the book isn't really a playful book. It is pretty serious so I though a script font would work well.
